Why would you want to do this?

Hugo
You can not, the E-stop on the teach pendant is part of the main safety circuit. You will not be able to run or do anything with the robot without the tp
-
Fanuc has the ability to do this but I'm not sure is available for the LR Mate. I think it is called is called dual arm. The second robot is set up as group 2 and there is additional hardware involved. It would be used in an application where 2 robots need to move together simultaneously to lift a heavy object like a truck frame.

We have dual-arm robot and both are run from one teach pendant. You can build programs using both arms and so on. However it is a pin in the ass to synchronize them if you build two separate programs for each arm.
And yes you need extra software loaded into your controller. -
What is the name of this packages ?? Is it possible to make it work in roboguide?

The option you are looking for is "Shared Teach Pendant" (R844). Detailed information can be found in the DCS manual.
I have never tried it in Roboguide but you can easily test it.

Ok but what is in documenation is not what i want. I would like to control 2 robots and program it in one TP file. Is it possible?
-
That is dual arm option
-
Thanks, could you provide me manual or manual id of this option?

V8.20 or later

Well in case you have lost one TP
on current project we have Fanuc with option to disconnect TP (same as KUKA have).
You select this option on TP and then you have 20s to disconnect it. It jumps the safety.
Not sure if anyone can purchase this option or if its specially for VW.
But based on this thread it is not what you were asking for.
