I want to create a restricted area for Fanuc robot (Like CUBE in Yaskawa) and want a one hard-wire signal when goes outside that area.
Plz tell me the detail procedure, i am new to fanuc.

Space function from FANUC is working like that. MENU -> Setup -> (0) Next -> Space Fnct.
Depends on whether or not it needs to be a safety rated zone. DCS will give you this capability. If the robot leaves or enters a zone the robot can be e-stopped or control-stopped automatically.
Actually i don't want my robot to be emergence stopped.
I just want it to be hold for that movement and when other robot goes out of the area this robot can enter.
P.S. I am having R-30iA controller
Again, you can use space function for this.
Or you can set up reference positions with a large range on the tolerances to them if you don't have the space check option. Reference positions turn on outputs when inside but can only do degrees for each axis with a tolerance. (or rads if you write to the sys vars).
I would recomend DCS, Dual Check Safety....works great...

You want the Intelligent Interference Check option. This has the added benefit of keeping the robots from bumping into each other no matter where they are in the workcell.
