Hello,
I need some help with a S4+ M2000 and IRB6600 that I am setting up to test. It came from an Auto Plant and we are looking to use as a material handling robot. The cables to the Safety bus and the DSQC504 CAN2 were cut. After powering up I get 71369, 71139 & 71058 errors. How do I correct these or is there a way to jump this out on the DSQC509. The DSQC328 has power, the MS & NS are lit green. The DSQC504 CAN1 NS & MS are lit green CAN2 NS is red & MS is green. The DSQC509 EN MS NS are lit green ES1 ES2 GS1 GS@ are not lit, the AS1 AS2 are lit yellow.
Thank You

You can definitely jump over it but not sure where on the older model's if you can get a copy of the e-plan you should find it there.

If you want to get the arm to move, with no external safety (For testing purposes only) you need to jump out some terminals at the X1-X4 locations. Attached is a pic. 9&10 of X1 and X2 are for the ES 1 & 2. Look closely at the pic and install jumpers. You will see the ES and GS led's light up when you get the jumpers in. Also, If the En light is not lit you may have other problems.
You may have to go into the system parameters I/O units and delete all the I/O boards you are not using. Also may have to go through all the I/O's (User,SystemI/O,cross connections) and delete all the ones related to the In/op I/O boards (the ones you deleted. But if you put the jumpers in, and all the LED are lit you should be good to go! -
Thank you, I created a basic OS that only has the DSQC509, and with the jumpers I am now able to test movement. I have sorted the connections for external safety relay and light curtain. I would like to interface a proximity switch input to start a routine and a second input to trigger a gripper output. The controller has a DSQC328A board. Can I use this to interface? I would like to accomplish this then have a vision system supplier quote integrating. Thanks again for any help or advice you can give.
