Being new to this forum, I would like to start by saying that you all for helping me out of a hole in many situations, and I hope I can help others the same way
That being said...
I have an upcoming project that consist of a 710 robot and 2 aux single rotor axis. These aux axis are going to be on a shuttle table, so while one is inside an enclosed chamber processing part, the other will be outside the chamber, allowing to be loaded/unloaded. I need to be able to jog this external axis in a slow speed, while not disrupting the auto cycle. I plan to use local stops on each axis, tying in light curtains to each load zone for safety, and using safety relays to only allow the light curtains to disable the external axis.

how do I incorporate a motion program to jog grp2/3 while the other is in cycle.
my thought would be to trigger a motion speed off of a digital input, and have say a safe speed of 0 when input is off. but I cannot run this in a monitor/background program, and I am unsure how to incorporate this into a production program
any info would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance
