Hello all,
I want to attach a camera to a tool changer and run the cameras electrical connections through an electrical quick connection module like ATI industrial automation offers. Has any one ever seen this done successfully?

I think electrically is possible.
My only concern will be toggling the power on that camera too often. -
Yes you can do this, just need to tool changer with the right cables and you are good to go.

Hi,
officially, for the Sony XC56 camera there's no way for this. I have seen it sometimes at customer side always working fine, but warranty is definitly lost.
For the digital Kowa cameras there is a official option for attaching/detaching the cam. It consists of a relay between controller and cam to switch of power, controlled by a tp command.
