I need to know how to create an alarm user in the DX100 controller.
It is necessary to change only the ladder or have something else I need to do?
Thanks for
User alarm

Just to clarify, you are trying to set a user alarm using the ladder as opposed to using the SETUALM instruction?
If the ladder option, then yes, you must tie into the signals used to request a user alarm.

Hello
I need to create two alarms, one is when counter exceeds the maximum preset value, other is when i receive a external signal for other equipment.
How do I use SETUALM instruction?
Thanks again -

If you're looking to trigger from an external signal at any given time, then yes you do need to use the ladder. Basically you're turning on specific input 40012, User Alarm Request, and setting a value to a register to indicate which alarm you're triggering.

Too Fast 46,
First thanks for the quick response.
Second, can you send me a example of this.
Thanks again. -
It really depends on your current CIO configuration. From Motoman, most of our robots are setup so you only have to turn on an auxiliary relay correlating to the right I/O alarm and it takes care of the rest. Does yours currently have anything to turn on #40012?
