Hi guys,
I was wondering whether it's possible to set a global speed limit for a robot. I mean a maximum TCP speed limit, i.e. 1500mm/s instead of 2000.

I assume you don't want to just set a lower speed override percentage?
Do you have a copy of the controller software reference manual? If not, here's a couple of variables that might do what you need. Not sure though.
that's exactly what I need. the overrive must be set to 100%, I have to limit programmed speed. thanks!
globally affect overall speeds with $MCR_GRP[1].$PRGOVERRIDE. It can be set in programs to only affect programmed speed, such as running at 75%, while the General Override is showing 100%. It is 'multiplied' by General Override for each programmed motion, so a $MCR_GRP[1].$PRGOVERRIDE value of 50 would yield half-speed if General Override is 100% or quarter-speed if General Override is set to 50%.
