Touch Screen Calibration

  • --- Topics Merged ---

I do not know of any calibration procedure for the touch screens as they are purely resistive films............(location detection only - no tracking).
    - I use a stylus or a rubber tip on end of retractable pencil aswell as the hardkeys, so I find navigation no problem.

If it is failing to register touch actions or appear misplaced either:
You have chunky fingers (like me), resistive areas have increased in resistance (regular used areas) or possibly the touch screen has moved (maybe it has received an impact).
    - Try a stylus, something with a blunt tip and see if that improves response.
    - The touch screens are nothing compared to todays mobile phones/tablets, only basic touch interaction.

Maybe someone else has come across one.....?
