What I actually wanted to ask is:
The post processor of my RM is 6axis + 1 external axis (linear track), can I switch the linear track and rotary table's power & resolver cable around so that I can mill a statue with the rotary table( E1, used to be E2)?

Why don't you try it with Sprutcam?
I never used rotary table (my one still waiting ;)) but Sprutcam is very flexible in this as i can see from the example videos.
And it is easy to get a trial version for a month or two... the postprocessor is included, may be you will need to do just the model of your configuration.

Because I have already paid for X6RM about 2years ago, and have no idea why there's always an error after generating SRC file from RM, and is not fixed yet. Really not happy with their service.
Yes I have contacted Sprutcam for demo.

    Please, keep us informed.
If you will be happy with Sprutcam, or if you will think of trying something else....

Your (real, hands-on) feedback is valueable

    Hi happytrigger,

We regularly machine with rotary tables.

    KUKA Robot Machining

That was the most recent installation I did in London. They have an MGU 3900-219. In that particular video it was only being used to index the part but some customers keep the spindle stationary and turn the table.

    We use PowerMILL by Delcam.

If you have any other questions I'll be happy to help!

Hi fazza85, are you using also Powermill robot interface? or just Powermill with a Kuka postprocessor?
What is the rough price for a cell with 7th axis?
    Thanks! Looking good

    Hi vvelikov,

Yes we use PowerMILL Robot Interface to output our files.

I couldn't give you a rough price as I don't deal with the quotes unfortunately, but it depends on what robot you want, what spindle etc. You can e-mail me with your required spec if you like and I can get a price for you.

    Hi fazza85,
I have been emailing the SE Asia distributor of Mastercam on solving the issue and also the local Mastercam, hopefully I can get it before Mid August then I can go on holiday in Uk. Where in uk are located?

what is the error? I have RMX6, though I don't use it much. As far as your question about linear switching to rotary, I doubt that will work, their license/post is probably smarter than that.

    Here is an example;
In X6RM open the example file Swarf from: C:\Users\Public\Documents\shared Mcamx6\mcx\mill\samples\metric\Multiaxis\1 CLASSIC, generate SRC file with RM, when creating the SRC file I also get an SWARF.err, see picture in the attachment.
