have problem with irb2400 robot 5axis

    I have problem with IRB2400 robot fifth axis. all other axis works good. the 5 axis when try to jog shows error 50056


    Description
    Actual torque on joint rob1_5 is higher than ordered while at low or zero speed. Might be caused by jam error (the arm has got stuck) or hardware error.

    Check hardware.
    Check for other hardware event logs.

    Description
    Optimal Emergency Stop changed to Electrical brake mode because of torque limitation.

    Check load data.


    First i try to remove wrist, thinking that its could be broken, but its ok.
    also try to experiment and swap 6 and 5 axis motor. the problem are the same even with the another motor.


    the robot was in working condition until I move it to another place.about30 meters, maybe I disconected something of safety chain?

  • We had a same problem with 5 and 6 th axis. Finally the technician came a change the sensibility of this axis.


    I can show you the parameters because the technician did not show me.


    This values are betwen 1 and 10. We had all axis in 1 level. The 5 and 6 th axis be changed to 3.
