Hello there!
I'd like to use some help from someone who knows both products well. I'm pretty well used to the FANUC R-30iB controller series, and now need to comission a Kuka KR 10 R1100 SIXX (KR AGILUS) robot.
Everyone used to FANUC knows they sell every inch of their software separatelly - oh, do you need to react to external forces? buy the softfloat package. Want to improve safety, create virtual barriers so the robot won't collide with the environment, just buy the interference check package.
How is this approached by Kuka? What is its softfloat/interference check versions? Do I need to buy them separately? How about documentation? Do you need a VIP pass to have access to them or is it available online?
Any other thoughts on things that are opposite between the two? Thank you very much!
