not running at full speed

    I have a problem
    the robot performs no movement 100%
    the shop floor negative temperature (about -10 ° C), perhaps because of it?
    or I heard that Kuka robots have a problem with the fourth and second axes (can not operate simultaneously at high speed)
    is this true? or other options?

  • open #machine.dat and search for $WARMUP_RED_VEL (there are few more variables that follow, such as $WARMUP_TIME=30.0). if you plan to use robot at such low temperatures, you should consider Arctic version, it is made for low temperatures.

  • A4 and A6 can work together at high speeds for PTP motions. However, for LIN motions, if A5 is too close to 0deg, A4 and A6 will attempt to compensate by rotating in opposite directions at increasing speed until an over-speed fault occurs.
