Alarm cannot reset fanuc M-16iB

  • hello
i have 2 error in my fanuc M-16iB
please help me to clear this alarm
    SRVO-138 SDAR alarm G:1 A:5
    SRVO-003 Deadman switch Released
can i know what this problem

  • See the attached JPEG for the cause/remedy of your SRVO-138 alarm. If it does not reset when you cycle power you will probably need to reset the pulse coders. Menu, 0, 6, (F1) type then select 3 master caL. Then press F3 (RES_PCA) to Reset the pulse coders then F4 (YES) then cycle power. As far as your SRVO-003 Deadman switch Released is the t1 switch in auto, if not switch it back to auto and try to reset.

  • About SRVO -138 Probably your encoder or cable in the Axis 5 is damaged, please verify that condition. Before detach the cables please take note about position and tool and write in a paper, because when you disconnect the encoder they lose reference and you need to do a master procedure. Sometimes with a deep clean (dielectric), could you reset alarm.

About Dead Man switch probably is damaged by a hit on the ground, verify that switch is working because they have 2 positions. No press, Press to Ready, Press to fail.

I hope i help you, good luck!
