    Hello all,

I'd like to be able to ask for a number (i.e. starting position in the pallet system).

I know the people on orangeapps have created some kind of plugin for KRC4, but I'm interested in KRC2.

    Is it possible?

I know how to show messages, but this is not what I do need.

    Thank you in advance!

not sure about getting dialog to type in numeric value (if that is what you want). for selection you can use dialog (up to 7 options).

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

Yes, I want to ask for a number.

I know the possibility to use a dialog and use keys to select one of the options, but if there are more options than the amount of available keys then this approach simply fails.

Well, no, you can do it with the keys on the KRC2 KCP. But it does require some additional coding. I've seen it done using +/- keys, or by dedicating some keys as +1, -1, +10, -10, etc, plus another button for Enter, and maybe another for Clear. Not the smoothest option in the world, but it does work.

    Hello everybody,

similar to our KRC4 plugin, there's also a plugin available for the KRC2. We didn't release it on our homepage yet as we used it only for our own purposes, so it's not 100% ready. The plugin itself is working, but there's some workaround left for including limit supervision of the input value, some things for easy installation and documentation. The plugin supports all kind of numeric input by the keyboard and the statuskeys. If you are interested check out our homepage, there you can find our contacts. Attached you'll find an older prelease of the documentation.
