robot waiting in progress but nothing (Solved)

    hi dears
    please help me
    in gave 3HAC2700-2 DISC(1) and inseted it after key disk
    after 1 minute teach pendant told me please wait and do not turn off
    i wait for 30 minutes and i saw nothing
    then i turn off controller .
    now when i turn on robot its write start up progressing and counting a timer.....
    and it doesnt go next step
    plese help meeeeeeeeee

    no it dosent ask key disk
    its stopped in start up processing step
    I remove cpu and battery but i still have that problem
    last week i insert key disk then i insert a boot disk , suddenly every things stopped.
    now i have a red led in cpu and memory

    Did you double check if you are using the robot computer DSQC373 or other?


    If you don't have the DSQC373 the problem can be the robot computer because the system 3.2 make an overflow in the flash memory on the robot computer and it will need to be repaired.


    But if you are using DSQC373 then the Leds that you said show us about a situation, when the robot turn on the led goes on and immediately goes off, if the led goes on again an error was detected in the test. How are the leds working when turn on the system?


    The robot computer is the first unit to start after a cold/warm start.


    Do you have another CPU boards and Teach pendant ?

    all leds of the boards is red , as soon as i turn it on.

    in the Robot Controller before starting to boot 3.2."


    In your case you need to repair it. You have 2 options, send the board to ABB repair departement OR send the board to a company supply eletronic services on robot boards. If you are in Brazil I can help you.


    its not possible to repair it by my own?
    its very important for me.
    if i have flash program and programer schematic i think i can repair it.

    I solve this problem.
    I take out flash chipsets in DSQC363 and Re_load those and
    Re_solder it.

    My assumption is that it means to erase the flash, reinstall on the board, and then let the software update the flash when you reload software.
    The other assumption would be removing the flash from a good board running the same revision software, copy the flash, and load the copy in the flash for another board of the same type.
    All this requires an IC programmer capable of read/write for the particular flash IC and very good solder/desolder equipment along with the knowledge and skill to use it.

    Hi, which chips are flash-chips that must be reloaded? Am29F800B? There are two of them?
