What is the alarm code? I have the profinet manual here.
The error message starts with “PNIO(D)” is related to I/O Device. The error message starts with
“PNIO(C)” is related to I/O Controller. Some error cannot be reset by reset button until the cause of the
error is resolved. If the error has to be reset, for example, when robot has to move for setup, change
“ERROR ONE SHOT” setting to enable temporarily. -
PRIO-608 I/O MISMATCH FAULT.In that time error one shot in i/o controller to reset. If any other way to solve the issue.

I am having the same problem.... any suggestions ?

Apparently it is a mismatch between your configuration in the Fanuc and external IO Controller.
Relating to Slot number and Subslot number not matching the configuration.

Just for anyone who is looking.
Today I had the same issue. I had a CP1616 card.
The problem was that I configured 32 bytes in my PLC hardware, BUT 64 bytes in the robot.
DI/DO and GI/GO did work however. After setting both to 32 bytes, the PRIO-608 error disappeared.
