Hello!
I need to connect a KRC4 system to an Ethernet/IP bus to communicate with an Allen-Bradley PLC.
Is this possible?
Found this http://www.beckhoff.com/english.asp?ethercat/el6652.htm but isn't released yet.. any other alternatives?

as far as i know, you can buy the KRC4 with Ethernet/IP support nativly without using any beckhoff adapter.
Just talk to kuka directly for this. -
Yes, the KRC4 supports EIP without additional hardware, but an additional software tech package is required.

Not specifically, I'm afraid. But if you ask for the EtherNet IP Tech Package for your specific KSS version (have your controller serial# handy too, just in case), they should be able to find it in their catalog easily enough.
