RJ3 R 2000 Power Down

  • Hello all,

My company has recently acquired an RJ3 R-2000 robot / controller. The controller does not have a separate operator panel (just a large cabinet)

My question: The controller does not have a power on/off button, if I turn off the controller using the disconnect (large black handle) is the 480v shut off completely to the cabinet?

I don't want to leave it on continuously, but I also don't want to lose master if the 'D' batteries should lose charge.

    thanks for any advice -

  • Hi ,

If before you turn off your controler check the teachpendant for a blal , battery low alarm you can turn it off with piece of mind. Isn't there a battery fault led on front of the controller?
O yeah I think the 480V is cut if you turn of your main switch.
