Hi
I am working on a project where we are bin-picking automobile parts with an ABB robot. A couple of times, the robot has stopped with an error message, that says something like "50376 - Geometric interpolation failed". As far as I remember, the ABB manual suggests to alter the path of the robot to avoid this problem. Altering the path is not so easy, because the path is generated at run time by our vision system, and the vision system does not have a full model of the robot.
Every time this error is shown, the operator has to acknowledge the error to make the robot move again. Does someone know whether it is possible to avoid this error, or at least let the system recover from the error automatically?
thanks in advance!
