Robotics solutions in construction of buildings
« on: December 30, 2016, 01:25:13 PM »
Could you please give me any links to robotics solutions which one can use in construction of buildings?
I am interested in all technologies, concerning construction of buildings, for example, bricklaying, plasterer or 3d printing and many other, even developing technologies, which are now at the stage of prototype.
If you know better place where I can ask for such information I also would be grateful.
Thank you.

There's a Dutch outfit called Studiorap who are architects using robots for all sorts of building works.
They are also in the process of developing milling software called Rapcam.
A Google search on either name will find them.

Yes, I know Studiorap, thank you, they offer really interesting non-standard solutions in architecture.
Maybe someone knows another interesting robotics solutions (in traditional building construction too)?

You might look at The Archirectural Association. Search on Wood Chip Barn for quite a complex project.
