Hello I was wondering if someone knows where I can buy/build the cable/adapter of the teach pendant and be able to plug it to the computer and use it with the roboguide? I know that FANUC must have it... but there is another option?

I have never seen it. Even at Fanuc. I have been to Fanuc training several times for training. You would think if anybody would have it, they would. It would be another way for them to sell stuff. Because roboguide has the built in keyboard, why would you want an external one? Seems bulky.

Just saw this:

I saw that video on youtube, why would I want an external teach pendant?
Well when you have a lot of years programming a Fanuc robot, you know where the buttons are even when you are not looking to it, but when you have it on the screen, it is slower the way that you can program.
For me is just to do the things in a faster way.

I had used it for two things:

1- Training people, best way to use the same pendant as they gonna have but with a virtual robot, quiet in a classroom.

2- In the earlier version of Weldpro, it was impossible to do cad-to-path with coordinated motion (maybe today ?), so, you have to manually teach you points (or at least touch-up), so it was more efficient to do it with real pendant.
If it starts well the first time, you haven't checked all !

If only someone knew the pin-out / makeup of those cables.

Communication TP<->controller is already IP based, so it shouldn't be too hard to get it to communicate with a normal desktop PC.

Thanks for your replies, I have experience with Fanuc robots, and as one of the guys said, even with the eyes blind you know where the buttons are.
But as another member said he used it for trainning, I want to use it for trainning for some other guys, but I quote it and it's more than $1300 USD, that can't afford right now, that's why I am looking for options, first is getting a similsar kit, second get the original kit, my last option for trainning is to buy an used robot.
