Hi,
whats the difference between a macro, and a non macro?

Hi slamcity

Macro has specific name and can called as macro name in your TP program and macro can has trigger for activate your macro program. You can see macro schedules on teach pendant. Macro cannot have robot move inside self just only some logic. I hope my information help you.

you can also tie Macros to the user keys on the teach pendant.  For instance you can use the tool 1 and tool 2 keys to run macros for gripper open and gripper close.
