I have been attempting to consistently Run programs through the SOP Auto Mode. I have been receiving the following error messages:

INTP-105 Run Request Failed
Cause: Program cannot be started
Remedy: Refer to error cause code. Use MENU to display the Alarm Log screen

MCTL-003 System is in Error Status
Cause: The system is in error status, therefore motion control was not granted
Remedy: Clear the error by pressing RESET, and try the operation again.

I have tried both Remedies with no success.

I am using PNS for my Program Select Method. Does anyone know if I could somehow manipulate the Base Number to be compatible with my programs? Or if I should change anything in my System Config?

If it is a Motor Control issue, could I edit motion groups to help? Is there a way to write program instructions that helps eliminate Motor control issues?

The strange thing is that it works sometimes without my explicitly changing a setting.

How are you trying to start the robot (SOP, PLC)?

What is the name of the program you are trying to run?

Through the SOP Auto Run Mode.

I am trying to run a very simple test program that I have defined with Joint Taught Points

It seems like you're just hitting the start button then when there is still a fault.  Hit the reset key so that the fault light goes off, then press the green cycle start.

If the fault light remains lit, copy down all of the active alarms and post them here.

I am having a similar issue with a LR 200iD only the warning that comes up is "SYST-005 UOP is master device"
I looked at the system variable $RMT_MASTER and it is set to 0 however I still caint figure out how to get the robot to run in AUTO by pressing the green cycle start button on the SOP

Look at your config settings: menu>system>config

If you are not using UOP then set Enable UI Signals to False

For green button start, set Remote/Local setup to Local.

This might sound like a dumb question but its Monday and I'm having a full blown Monday so what's the variable to enable the FWD/BWD keys?

Do you have the robot in teach mode, deadman & shift pulled in, no faults, and current program open in the left most window?

It's under the function menu (FCTN).

When disabled, you'll see a box with "FBD" in it.
