Title: RC5 gives 73ff error Can't start during program stop
Post by: niko on February 07, 2018, 11:25:28 AM
The title pretty much says it all .
TSR program runs but when it runs a subprogram (for homing movement) 73ff comes up . Not much in the manual about it and this is the second time I got this error, and it is persistent . Powering of does not help .
Re-uploading and  restarting the project did the trick last time but I'd like to know how to avoid this issue in the future .

Any help is welcome .

Regards
Nikolai

Nikolai,

Was the program stopping when the robot was trying to home?  If so, how is the robot stopped( e.g. externally through PLC hard signal like step stop OR programming?).   From what I can gather online, it looks as if the robot is HALT-ing when you are trying to home it.

Hello and thank you for your reply !
It seems one axes was close to it's end of travel, and that's what caused it .
Now I have issues with maneuvering in tight spaces .
Any tips with that ?

Assuming your moves are linear already?
