C4GOpen is an Open Source technology which allows universities and research centers to test their theories and motion algorithms on real industrial robots.

The "C4GOpen" topic allows:

-         to create a community of C4GOpen users
-         to exchange ideas, tips and tricks about how to use C4GOpen
-         to discuss proposals and new ideas on C4GOpen platform

C4GOpen was at the IEEE International Conference on Automation and Robotics
3-8 May, 2010,  Anchorage, Alaska.

Thanks to C4GOpen, a Comau robot had the front cover on this book:

Dynamics and Robust Control of Robot-environment Interaction


It might be a nice read to learn how C4GOpen was used. Amazon will gracefull let you browse through a few pages out of the book.

as i know, Italy Sintesi Company is very familiar with this C4G-Open, if you have any problems, you can contact with them.

I have news that Sintesi has gone out of business. If I find news that the Orchestra product has a future I will post them.

C4GOpen remains an actively supported product, as Orchestra was just one possible alternative in developing motion algorithms.
