Please help,

I have had my robot build and programed externally.  They have programed a $PX011 position that I require modifing.  Can anyone please suggest where I might start in the modification of this position.

The purpose of this position is a point where a height measurement occures in the Z- axies.

Thanks in advance Peter

Peter,
The variable $PX011 is a System Position Variable and is related to the System Location of REFPT#1, I think that the robot sense a position as reference, if you want to modify this position (REFPT 1), first move the robot to the new position, then press the REFPT key, input the number 1 for REFPT 1, and then press MODIFY and ENTER.
Good Luck.

Hi Motomaniaco,

I have modified the position.  Sorry about the late reply.  Your suggestion was absolutely correct.  I had to hold down the REFP button while moving and teaching the position.

I taught the new point and then changed the offset based on the new position.

Thanks for your help.
