NX100/welding application.. R1 and R2 are back to back, R1 facing east R2 facing west, S1 is south S2 is north. Have two identical parts on S1.  I thought I could program a R1 job then copy to new job, change header Group to R2, then parallel shift were needed for R2 , that didnt work R2 went to S2 side.. Then mirror shifted R2 went back to S1 side but was on wrong side of fixture, in the way of R1 robot. Have tried everything I know to do,, cant get it, had to program R2 on its on.  It would save an enormous amount of time if could copy from R1 to R2 on same station.. I am sure there is a simple way of doing this,, but I am new,, been on this dual robot dual station cell for a week,, dont know much about it. I hope nobody laughed at me too hard,, I need some help,.. Thanks in advance for any help...Bernie0962@msn.com

Sparkthrower,

You must use the Mirror Shift function. When you copy a job from R1 to R2 on this kind of cell, I guess is a Fab World II, the R2, the R2 executes the program on the oposite side because the robots are back to back. the best way for to do this is using the Mirror Shift Function, you can find info about this function on the Operator´s Manual for Arc Welding, Section 7.5 MIRROR SHIFT FUNCTION. On the Mirror Shift windows set R2 on the option "DESTINATION CONTROL GROUP".

Here are the steps for the function:

7.5 Mirror Shift Function
1 Display the JOB CONTENT
2 Select {UTILITY} under the
3 Select {MIRROR SHIFT}. The MIRROR SHIFT window appears.
4 Set items as required.
SOURCE JOB
SOURCE CTRL GROUP
STEP SELECTION
DESTINATION JOB
 DEST CTRL GROUP
COORDINATES
USER COORD NO.
TARGET
EXECUTE
