Hi is it anyone out there that knows how to save the data from an RX control!
I have tried with a tape recorder and also to store like a wav file.
But i think the audio interface is uncalibrated after the years.
There is a rs232/422 port but i cant get anyting out of it.

What settings protocol could be used in the mid 80;s (did they already then use hardware keys)?

Hope someone worked with this and could give me some hints (we taped from the comadore in the mid 80 but then the stuff weren't 30 years old).

Can I barrow a cup of robots?

Some used a "floppy box"....... FC1 was its name.....and a few later models i think could used the PC software FDE.
The early FDE seems like it would only run on a Windows 95..........the tape back-up should work but I have had issues while trying to get it to start......sometimes just don't know why

What I dug up was that you need the FC1 box and a special cable for the RX.....

Somar i tried with no sucsess. But I get some bytes with a nullmodem and serial analyser but i dont know what to respond. do you have any more info on the config file?

I tried Xmodem to but i gett no responce errors.

What could be used from that period zmodem was later (86).

i found in an old drawing of the Jancd sp02 card that ...

3          RD            20          ER

I went in the way back machine to get a manual on FC1 disc drive with RX.  The recommended recorder for data storage was a Sony deck that had a 3 head recorder with variable speed playback.  We found a simple Radio Shack cassette recorder worked also.  Not all brands worked well due to different signal/noise ratios.
You might need a new robot if .....
