I've got a XRC controller with a UP200 robot stuck to it.  It has a MARIO board that dies once a year (bottom light blinks red/no comm).  I've been tasked with figuring this out.  I told them its more than likely the RIO thats wired up in STAR pattern versus daisy chain but they want technical jargon with it.

So I'm wondering if anybody knows the min/max voltage levels on the comm port on the MARIO?

Also, how do you 'backspace' a text discription on the teach pendant?  Like I misspelled something and my current options are live with it or start over.  I'm sure there's a way to backspace it.

Hi:

For the backspace, try pressing SHIFT, and move cursor down.

I don't know Mario voltages

The following info is in the manual at the above link

The Remote I/O link is a local area network, connected in a daisy-chain
configuration. Each end of the cable must be terminated with an appropriately valued
resistor to prevent signal reflections and distortion arising from cable
impedance discontinuities. More information regarding cabling and cable
termination may be found in Allen-Bradley wiring guidelines Technical Support
Bulletin 92-D1770-BC0.
