Hi,

Can someone give me a detailed explenation of what motoplus is for? I have been told it is a more advanced version of motocom, but somewhere i have seen that motoplus runs on the controller but I don't find any descriptions about it. If I don't know what it is then I don't know if I can use it.
If someone can help me, or has a manual about it. That would be even better.

Thx

Kevin,

MotoPlus allows you to write a custom program and load it into the robot CPU for execution.

Think of it like your cell phone.  You go online, download an APP and you get a new functionality.

MotoPLUS allows you to develop your own app, offline using a developer program.  You get access to everything that is the robot (variables, jobs, start, stop, etc.....) and then you load it into the controller for execution.

Motoman has developed a few already and some examples with be MotoSight 2D.  Here, an APP on the controller establishes communication with a Cognex camera to trigger and transfer camera data/results.

Good luck,
