Check the tool file that is used in each program, seen this before if wrong/different weights set.

good point!
If a tool file is set to 0 weight then the robot assumes max weight is used and therefore your accel decel would change dramatically!

kaikai:

Maybe this will help

Save All Parameters from good robot and slow robot. Using an editor compare them. I know there are too many, but it's a simple solution.

I use software that compares the difference between two files.

Get somebody else and check every screen of parameters and setups. It's hard but you will find the problem

I've done that many times

Maybe axis acceleration and/or deceleration parameter are different between robots?

Hello,

I agree with Somar, a parameter comparison could be the solution. Are the Robots welding on an external axis? If so you can check the calibration of the external axis to the robots, if the axis is not good calibrated with the robot the Robot can be slow.

Best Regards,

I'm wondering if one robot is set to CM/Min and the other is Inch/min.

Select {UTILITY} under the menu
in the PLAYBACK window.

Select {SPEED OVERRIDE}.

Select “ON” or “OFF” under
“MODIFY.”

Each time [SELECT] is pressed when the cursor is on the data of
the item “MODIFY,” “ON” and “OFF” alternate.
Select “ON” to modify the registered play speed during playback.
When “OFF” is selected, the registered play speed is not modified.
To change the play speed temporarily (for example, to experiment
with various speeds), select “OFF.”

Set the override ratio.

Line up the cursor with the override ratio and move the cursor up
and down to change the ratio.
If you want to input the ratio number directly, move the cursor to
the override ratio and press [SELECT]. The number input line
appears. Input the override ratio using the Numeric keys.

I have OFF 100%....
_________________________________________________

Playback the manipulator

The manipulator starts operating. The play speed is increased or
decreased in the set ratio. When setting “MODIFY” to “ON,” the
step’s play speed is modified when each step is reached.
When one cycle is completed by the END instruction, the speed
override setting is released.

I hope that help........

I'm wondering if one robot is set to CM/Min and the other is Inch/min.

In management security level, go to SETUP, OPERATING CONDITIONS, about halfway down is the SPEED DATA INPUT FORM.  This will tell you if you are using mm/sec, mm/min, cm/min, or in/min.

Another way is to DIRECT OPEN on the ARCON instruction if using Arc Start Files, in there it will tell you the units for speed.

Hello somar ,

Can you  send me  the  software that you use to  compares the difference between two files.  ?     Please.

I been watching robts and both are in cm/min

Robots are the same, but if they have a different version of motoman software could cause this ??

I do not know what to do anymore!

Thanks , friends
