Hi,

We're currently doing some work on an old K6SB robot for a school project. We've currently got an error that reads "MAKE ABS DATA <Failed>". What we're wondering is, how do you set the absolute data?

All help appreciated.

Best regards,
Alex

Encoder data is hosed
you will need to short the encoder.

Before we tried this out we had two errors indicating errors with the S and T encoders. After trying this out, we cleared the error on the T encoder.

There is, however, still an alarm LED blinking at 2 Hz on the servopackage and an error stating:
           ERROR NO         ERROR STATUS
SV1 1:     01                  0000_1000

Anyone got any suggestions as to what our problem might be?

Just an update :):

So, by short circuiting the 10 and 12 pin on the encoder connector we managed to clear the error.

Now it's just a matter of getting the new abs data in.
