You might have an issue in your understanding of digital outputs as compared to analog outputs.  For analog outputs to work, you will need an analog card.  This will usually be an EW card (ie. MEW, XEW).  Each analog card has 3 analog channels.  So for you to want to use analog channel number 10, you would need 4 analog cards in your controller.... and please be aware that these analog cards are not controlled by your regular CN connectors for your digital I/O.   Hope this clears things up a little.

If you buy a standard arc welding robot , NX100 comes with a XEW card. In XEW card there are 2 Analog Outputs AOUT(#1) and AOUT(#2) which are available on pin numbers 31,32 and 33,34(i guess)

the xew actually has 3 analog channels
pins 31-32 channel 0 AOUT 1
pins 33-34 channel 1 AOUT 2
pins 9-10 channel 2  AOUT 3

Channel 0 1nd 1 are the standard v-veld and a-weld channels in arc welding with option control coming from channel 2

Hey, thanks for that additional information. We have used the AWELD and VWELD for welding machine calibration but never realized it was routed from these... Thanks anyway
