Hello,

I have several robots collected from a company that has closed. This robot is 1982, but has stood more than 10 years. I am testing to get it ready, and shortly after activating the servos, shows the 0852 and 0982 alarm in the axis U. and sometimes also on the Y axis

If I try to move the axes, before the alarm goes off, let me move all but the U.

Could you tell me which may be due to this, and if it could be due to lack of fat, as I have no spare fat to see if it works, because if it does not work, it would be a waste of money.

I tried changing the ERC control completely and shows the same alarm.

Best regards,

Alfonso

Both of these alarms point to a ServoPac failure. However, 0982 also points to overload on high lighted axis , possibly due to motor wiring being incorrect.

I am not sure what happened in Your case but for wiring of motor in new robots You need 3 phases and brake. When You push deadmen and keep touching motor with hand switch You can understand if the brake is released. In new robots  powering is 3 phases 400V AC brake is 24V.Other connection is for ENCODER

i think the problem can be the brake of the U axis, because, the same ERC control, work fine in other k10s.

Somebody, know how can i check the brakes.

Thanks.

P.D. Sorry for my English, I am from Spain.
