error address 0000_0000_0000_0001

All,
I'm getting the above error on UP50 (NX100) at random points during production process. Can anyone shed any light on what causes this alarm, there is nothing (i can see) in the manual?

Cheers

Robot's have an optional over-run limit switch.  This switch can be used to limit the robot's range of motion on an axis.  If the robot exceeds the allowable range, it trips the limit switch and generates the alarm.

Some robot models have the switch built-in by default on the s-axis and if it goes bad you can get this fault.

Even if you don't have the s-axis switch, every robot has the wiring inside the electrical harness.  I believe your problem is that the harness is going bad and randomly tripping out on the over-run circuit.

You may have to look at replacing your harness, or another option would be to locate where the wires terminate inside the robot controller and try to jump out that circuit all together.

Hi
Mr Robo Guru is total right ,but two mounts ago I had the same problem.I lose a 4 or 5 hours and with wondering discover It was SAFETY SYSTEM connecting like a over run sensor(it was one inductive sensor fail). So check please if You got a some kind of sensors(inductive or magnetic) mounted somewhere in a robot arms working like some kind of strange safety

Thanks guys, have been on holiday for the week - I'll start checking this out. Our UO50 hasnt got additional LS wired onto s-axis but can start checking wiring this weekend. Hopefully update you when I know more - thanks for all your help,

hi

Smal problem,

I have just had the eccatly same error on my UP50 (XRC but the same robot)

The 00000001 bit, indicates that it is on axis S
there is located a small swtich arm with a whell(just above there the cables are connected),

in my case i got rid of the error after moving this arm by hand
