Hi guys..
I'm new from this forum and I have bought a VK120 with VRS1 just.
My problem is:
I have created 3 simple PTP program for test robot and they run in S STEP mode but not in AUTOMATIC mode.
When I push AUTO bottom display show: " AUTO NOT POSSIBLE ONLY  S STEP" or if I run S STEP first, automatic when I power on drivers show : " NO PROGRAM SELECTED".
What is the problem?

Another question..
Display show some lines black then appair and disappair, can I repair it?

Thank you a lot

Hello

First of all... this controller is new to me too

Have you tried to change program:

press simultaniusly: "joystick" icon + "new start" icon

then (in less than 1 sec after releasing) press "enter"

The other question: funny....sometimes I get that line too in the last line on the display (nice to know that it isnt that bad -since it is a common thing)

Sorry I got it all wrong

The described combination is for resetting -not changing program

I get the same error -exect if I change to automatic mode in the middle of a program (not line 0)

TRUE!!
If I change in automatic mode before have pressed both F1 and F2 (for run program in S STEP mode), in automatic mode, program RUN!! but I don't think then this is the correct way for use it....

I have seen Werner Hampel's post in this forum... he look like an expert of VRS1....

Werner Hampel, have you seen my post? can you help me / us?

Hello

1°  In constant 310 you may set "binary" OR "1 out of n"

2°  On A4-04 , D/A-karte 5E 1424 :

      > if "1out of n " setting, you may applying an external voltage of 24 vlt in E1 to select programm1,inE2 if select program 2, in E3 if select program 3 , etc ,up to 8 programs.

     > If " binary " is setting, you can select up to 127 different programs.Use binary mode from E1 to E7,bit parity on E8.
( exemple to call program n° 67  =  24vlt on E7+24vlt on E2 +24vlt on E1 +24vlt on E8 for parity)

3° When automatic mode is on , you start program if you get a 24vlt signal on X 507 pin 2 .

I got thoses informations from progrmming manual and from SEF Roboter GmbH,it is OK for my robot  VK 360/125.

Good luck  !!

Jerome
