If all else fails, read the manual.

Hello folks,
I have to re-program a used Staubli arm (RX90BL/CS8) for different work, and would appreciate your opinions on VAL3 and whether I need to buy Robotic studio SRS or can I just use good old ultraedit?
Can I use ethernet/serial communications?
Answers in German or Dutch or English are fine.
Thanks

to answer my own question: (9 months later)
You can use ulraedit, or you can buy SRS.
I found Staubli Robotic Studio to be  pretty slick.
I used ethernet comms.

The closest I ever got to staubli robot was repairing the teach pendants.

I would be interested in any docs for this robot if anyone would be so kind (anything and everything). This is one robot I have no information on (other than the mental notes I took on the pendant).
