BOSCH TurboScara SR800 with RS82/S controller

Hello,

A group of students at the TH Rijswijk (The Hague, Netherlands) is trying to control a BOSCH TurboScara SR800 robot with a RS82/S controller.
(As you will know) the controller can be programmed through a terminal, socalled 'online programming'.
'Offline programming' is possible with a program called 'robotwindows'. The original disks and manuals are available at the TH Rijswijk.

The 'robotwindows' software is installed on a laptop. This software functions as a 'demoversion'. The students are facing the following problems:
- The manual describes a "COM (9 pins) - RS232 (25 pins)" cable with altered layout. A cable is altered to the given layout, but communication is still not possible. The terminal function in 'robotwindows' gives a 'time-out' error.
- When booting 'robotwindows' an error appears: 'Betriebsstecker nicht auf Druckeranschluss --> Demoversion'. Does this mean that the altered cable (it's checked with a measuring device) isn't working or that a dongle (at the LPT1 connector) is needed?

i read about your problem with your Turbo-Scara SR800.
We have in our Labor in school (HTL; Austria) a BOSCH Scara SR 800.
How much is the difference between the Scara SR 800 and the Turbo Scara SR 800 ?

Our Problem is that we have the original Software, but the INSTALL.exe files are not included.
So, from where can i get them? Or perhaps do you have them?  If yes; is it possible that i can have them from you?
Perhaps i can help you with something you want to know?
