030 cards for staubli and adept is not as common as the more advaced 040 processor card. You can replace 030 with 040 without any problem. I think 040 is easier to find. It is possible to by new 040 cards from Adept, but new "old" cards is very expensive from Adept. Try some used robot parts company or search on E-bay instead.

Be sure to check if you have a SIO card with SCSI or IDE disks. A processor card for IDE can handle both SCSI and IDE SIO-card. A processor card for SCSI vill not handle a IDE SIO. There use to be a text "IDE" on one of the handles of the processor cards and SIO-cards if they are made for IDE disks.

There is also a changeover in V+ version during the era of 030 and 040 processor cards. V+ 10 I think only support SCSI and you need V+ 11 for IDE.

Conclusion:
-If you do have V+ 10 and SCSI SIO I sudgest that you try to find a old processor card without support for IDE.

-If you have a IDE SIO you need to get a new processor card with support for IDE.

-If you have a SCSI SIO and V+ 11 or higher you can use any 030 or 040 card.
