We are getting ready to setup a fanuc vision cell. We are picking skins from a rack. I have been told there are 2 options. 1 a fixed frame or 2 a floating frame.

The vision will give a offset to the robot than the robot will search into the rack for the part.

what would be best to use the fixed or floating frame method? and why?
