If all else fails, read the manual.

I find that http://www.robot-forum.com/index.php?option=com_google_maps&task=new&Itemid=19 will not let me log in kopfkratz
It does not matter if I log out first or not.

Übersetzung:
You can add your location to the Roboterforum Membermap.

How to do it:

1. Login to the Homepage with your Login data from forum or create a Simulat (Simulate?..Similar? Ich weiss nicht) Account here. Look right ------>

2. Visit http://www.multimap.com to search and find your coordinates (For exact Placing of your pin, mouse right click -> "Place red circle here", and wait a few moments, until your coordinates are refreshed).

3. At the bottom of the Map you should see your Coordinates.
Example: Lat:    48:07:13N (48.1204) Lon:    11:33:37E (11.5601)
Please use the decimal degree values within the (brackets) and separate them with a Point. Please do NOT use the Degrees:Minutes:Seconds values.
Go back to Robotforum

4. If you are logged in the Robotforum Homepage there is a link to a form, where you can insert your Name and those Data. Example: Name: Yourname Latidude: 48.1204 Longitude: 11.5601.
Check for spelling and typos.

5. Save by clicking Diskette Symbol at top right of form.

6. Refresh the Map with the Link below the Membermap or >> here <<

7. If you can not see your pin after this, you need to clear your browser cache.

8. Check position of your pin. If there is a mistake, please post in this thread.
Please do not use the form more than once, because I need to delete your previous pin first.

If you need a Change, post it in this thread .

Hi Jim, big big Thanks    blumen coeuranime

So your Problem:
You should log in at the Homepagelogin, which is on the Top right of the Page.
if it dont works, create a new one. But i looked into the database you are there inside.

There is another Login for the Forum in the Middle of the page, this one is the Roboterforumlogin.
I know this is a bit confuse, but there is no other solution right now.

Thank you Werner,
I did manage to create an account and place my coordinates.
I can't see myself though, perhaps because I do not have IE7 or Firefox installed. 6
If you can see me then all is well.

Understood, but why is it even there? I am following your instructions and am still getting this:

You are not authorised to view this resource.
You need to login.

I log in to the homepage, goto robot-forum, choose add yourself to member map...

Am I missing something? For instance, step 4 --

"4. If you are logged in the Robotforum Homepage there is a link to a form, where you can insert your Name and those Data. Example: Name: Yourname Latidude"

Not seeing the above mentioned in step 4 anywhere. I know its silly, but please help.
