If all else fails, read the manual.

RULE #1: We do NOT engage in copyright infringement on this forum. So don't ask for cracks. Don't discuss illegal copies. Any threads that may infringe copyright will be summarily deleted. No apologies.
Make your posting as clear as possible, and provide background information to your question. This saves your time, and the time of people that are trying to help you, and reduces forum clutter. If your English skills are weak, then post in a language that you are comfortable with, that way at least someone will understand it better than bad English.
Use a real name for your handle. That way we can tell if you are a real live person or a spamming program. State your country, it helps when people post questions like "Who can help me", someone may be near you. This information is helpful if we are trying to direct you to help from someone that is in your country. Be aware that we are able to track IP adresses to country of origin.
Do not send unsolicited questions in personal messages to members. People travel a lot and if only one person gets your message then you could be waiting for weeks before they log in again. Post them on the board and then other people with the same problem can use the information.
Bear in mind that people from all over the planet use these forums, word your postings so that someone who uses English as a second language will find it somewhat easier to understand. If we write in cryptic shorthand it does not help someone else with the same problem if they cannot understand the posting.
If you add a reply to state whether or not your issue has been resolved, anyone reading the thread in the future has an indication of whether what is written is worth trying (or not).
Do not post vague questions such as " How do I open a text file" or "How do I program the submit interpreter". Be specific about what you want to do. Give examples of your code. We don't have time to try and understand what you are thinking about.
