Hi, I have a TAWERS robot in a production cell suffering with the above fault. There are no error messages, however when trying to ascertain 'servo on' in teach mode i get the message "please grasp the deadmans handle again" and if in auto mode the pendant gives the error message "safety relay e-stop".

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Cheers

It's most likely 3 things.
1.  TP cable.  Most likely cause its getting the most abuse.  Check for bends or breaks in the cable.
2.  Saftey card ZUEP5702.  It is found inside robot controller.   Open front door, its on the right side of the controller.  Its is a small piggy back board with orange connectors.
3.  Power Control PCB ZUEP575 .  Found in the back of the robot controller.

If you need help, service call, or parts.  I would be happy to help.

Thanks,
Ross

Cheers Ross,
Ruled all of the above out. The fault was eventually traced to a stuck contactor on one of the 3 external axis cards. Thanks for your help though, love this forum!
