I have got two seperate issues with our panasonic series mig welding robots. One of the teach pendants refuses to accept any of the supervisor passwords, even refusing 'robot - 0000' - Does anyone know of a way to reset the passwords to factory setting?

The second issue is more tricky, i wish to fully document all of our welding parameters - three programs per robot, 12 robots in total, and would like to kow if there was a way of viewing the robot program on PC. I have tried the obvious like notepad etc, to no avail - can anyone help please?

Thakns in advance all,

Rob

You need to have a maintenance card to change settings if you don't know a login. The login of "robot" w/"0000" is the default so someone changed it. I can help you out if you are in the Michigan area.

Thanks all for this support, I suppose i really only want to read the program data, not offline edit - so i dont know if my directors will sanction the software purchase! I just wondered if anyone knew of any gtype of program that would allow me to view it as text file - much in the same manner as using notepad for motoman program.

As for the 'maintenance card' - i have never even heard of this - but sadly im about as far away from michigan as i can be, im based in the U.K! Thanks for your offer though Prerobot!

Again, thanks all for your time.
