hello everyone,

I'm interested in slip rings for robot, is there any robot engineers could tell me more about details of slip rings used in robot?

Most robots don't use slip rings due to mechanical limits of it's very construction, main or slew axis  have 300<360 degree limits and therefore have mechanically protected cables. Only axis that can travel through min. +/-  360 degrees is 6th axis & is the only "endless" axis available & by it's very construction doesn't require any further cables (it's the last axis).
We manufacture a heavy current slip-ring  system that is used for welding current and attached to 6th axis for flexibility of robot positioning when carrying a welding torch.
We have used slip rings for multiple control wiring etc . For external rotary devises attached to the robot system, from your question I take it this is your main reason for posting.
