I am currently troubleshooting a salvaged Unimation PUMA 200 robot.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good resource for these model robots? I am looking for service manuals, case studies, etc... I am running dry on google... Or possibly another forum more specific to the robot? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I worked on them for years. The only problem is it was years ago. I will try to help if I can.

I am not sure what they are doing with them these days, but many years ago Staubli turned support of the PUMAs over to RP Automation. Try contacting Ben Clark at ben.clark@rpautomation.com

The biggest problem will be parts. Most of the IC chips used on the boards are no longer available. A few university web sties have some information, but the PUMA design predates the internet.

What exactly do you need to get started? Even though I have only 760 systems, I might have some info for you.
