We are trying to use our welding robot to its full potential. We generally, and manually, Tig and Mig weld all of our products (We have a Mig welding robot) We are wasting so much time programming at the welding station. I have contacted OTC daihen about their ed95, and ot95 software. I do not want to purchase such expensive software without having the opportunity of trying it out. Does anyone know of a trail version of this software so we can "test drive?" do we need to use OTC software? Is there something else we could be using? Help?

Is there a program I can use on my desktop, to download to the robot, so I can bypass the teach pendant?
For example, we use autocad to draw parts for construction. We use a cam program for our cnc lathes and mills. What program do we use to tell the robot to go here and weld here, etc etc? Is the only way the teach pendant?
