HI to all the forum,

I am looking for advise on using nachi sa 160 with ar controller for low volume aluminium plate routing I am in  western australia with no support but want to give it a try with robot I purchased one from the usa for my learning   nightmares. I do 3d cad and want to convert to tool paths,  maybe with mastercam or similar any and all advise welcome. From reading the forum I see I Need manuals on these machines if anyone can point me in the right direction as the dealer on our east coast said these must be old and they do not support them and maybe I should buy a new one from him. for $100,000.00 +++++

PS TAKE IT EASY ON ME I OLD BUTT STILL WANT TO LEARN THE WAYS OF THE FORCE.

Maybe you can have a look at the new Nachi discussion board in this forum...hidden under "more Robots" here:

Good luck!

Hi  to all

I have been all over the forum looking, and my question is does any member know if robotmaster is suitable for a nachi are the files suitable,
or can one recommend a cam package for patterning aluminium plate to 6mm and high density foam tooling ,I guess you would say I am looking for tool paths .

We are new to this forum.  We are the company that develops Workspace 5 (www.workspace5.com).  We have software that can path plan the motion of the robot for offline programming.
We have a customer which has several Nachi robots and does cutter path using our software.  He has very few issues with the Nachi robots that he has.  He purchases older Nachi robots because they are inexpensive, readily available and considers then a reliable workhorse.
He cuts plastic, Aluminum sheets and Wood.
