when i  turn on the controller. it only display : FAIL
what is the possible reasons? low Battery? wrong connection of robot?

Ive got the same problem last week
In the 1st time reset your controler with this procedure
After it Work fine

Initialization of RAM datas
!!!Attention!!! During this initialisation the whole RAM memory will be deleted. The origin
and also all programs, positions, parameters, counters and errors are gone after this operation.
!!!!!! Before Starting !!!!!!
Switch off the controler Disconnect all external devices like I/O`s, additional axis, serial and other communications.
1. CR-E116 for robotarms RV-E2 and RV-E3J
-   Press   and   at the same time, during you switch on the power.
-   ”H” appears in the display and the buzzer beeps continuously. - Release   und   button.
-   Press   several times, until ”U” appears in the display.
-   Press the   button one time. -   ”0” appears in the display. -   Press   several times until ”5” (RV-E3J with 5 Axis) or ”6” (RV-E2
with 6 Axis) appears in the display. -   Press the   button one time. -   The chosen number is flashing now. -   Please wait one second before you press the   button again. -   After a countdown from „9-0“ “H” appears in the display. -   Finally please turn the power off and on again.

2. CR-E356 for robotarms RV-E3NLM, RV-E4NM and RV-E5NJM

(RV-E5NJM) appears in the display. -   Press the   button one time. -   The chosen number is flashing now. -   Please wait one second before you press the   button again. -   After a countdown from „9-0“ “H” appears in the display. -   Finally please turn the power off and on again.
3. CR1, CR2, CR2A, CR2B, CR3 for robotarms RH-5AH55, RH- 10AH85 RP-1AH, RP-3AH, RP5AH, RV-1A, RV-2AJ, RV-2A, RV- 3AJ, RV-3AL, RV-4A, RV-5AJ, RV-6S, RV-6SL and RV-12SL, RV- 3SB, RV-3SJB, RH-6SH55, RH12SH85

-   ”I- - - -I” appears in the display. - Release   und   button.
-   Press   several times, until ”EnG” appears in the display.

I have same problem with Mitsubishi CR1-571 and RV-2AJ. I try follow instructions, but I can't see what I need press.

Can someone help with "blanc buttons"? Or offer help where I can found orginal reset instructions?

I transfered the directions above to Notepad, then taking the first STOP cut/pasted sequentially into the text.  Worked like a charm.
