I have a Mitsubishi RV-E2 6-Axis robot that I need to get working.  It has sat in storage for a few years and I have just recently powered it up again.  I initially got a lot of encoder errors so I replaced the batteries inside the robot and in the controller box as well.

After powering it up again, I am still getting all of the same error codes for every axis of the robot and I am not sure where to go from here.

Is there some way to reset all the encoders in the robot?  I have been trying to read the user's manual but it is not very clear how to solve the problems.

The Error codes I am getting are: 246, 316, 265, 245, 255, 315, 264, 244, 254, 314, 313, 312, 261, 241, 251, 311

Any input or solutions is welcomed.

I had simular issues. i reset the origins.
you need the manual Robot arm setup and maintenance and follow 5.5.1 resetting origins with end stopper

also the Troubleshooting manual is very handy as it explains what each error message is

if you require these manuals please give me your email address and ill send them to you

Hello there,

I've got a problem with an RV-E2 Movemaster robot.
This Robot also was inactive for years and i try to get it working again.
My Problem is, that i get some errors and dont know how to fix them. Someone mentioned there is a troubleshooting manual, but i cant find it, maybe I havnt one.

Firstly I tried to set the Origin, and it says its completed, but i always get the following errors, so i dont know if it worked.

1) Error 536 and 1500
2) Error 236 and 226

I dont know why but sometimes the first and sometime the second Errors appear.

Maybe it helps to know that the motorized hand was changed before the robot was stored somewhere and they maybe havnt really initialized it or there is a fuse broken.

Any Ideas how to getting started fixing this problems?

I hope someone can help me with this "old" boy.

Greetings
